There are 20 Diamond Girls on the squad. Each year, new members will be chosen to maintain this number.

What does an MSU Diamond Girl do?

Diamond Girls serve the baseball program by hosting fans and alumni, bat handling and ball chasing at games, assisting in the baseball office, and more.

How do I tryout?

Attend our annual Fall Interest Meeting to learn everything you'll need to know about tryouts. Keep up with our website and Instagram as we'll be announcing all dates and times that you'll need to attend.

What are the requirements of a Diamond Girl?

Girls are required to be full-time MSU students on good academic standing, attend mandatory meetings and games, complete fundraising requirements, and abide by the Diamond Girl Constitution.

Does it cost anything to be a Diamond Girl?

There is a one-time fee of $300 for each new member. Additionally, each member is responsible for selling at least $500 in ads for our calendar and selling at least 30 calendars. If this requirement is not met, the Diamond Girl is required to pay the difference.

What is the time commitment of a Diamond Girl?

Diamond Girls are required to attend all monthly meetings, be readily available for Fall events, work every other home series, and be available for post-season as needed.
